Abstract

The vapour compression refrigeration process is the key of the refrigeration system. Vapour Compression refrigeration system mainly used in Refrigeration engineering. In this paper, the performance of Zeotropic refrigerant blends (R134a & R22) and R134a, R22, R410a separately in a Vapour compression refrigeration system were investigated experimentally and compared. The R22 gas is highly safe for domestic use and industrial use but the major negative point of the R22 is its high ozone depletion potential. In this researched study identify that the R410a is gives best results as compared to R134a, R22 and blends of (R134a & R22). The R410a is green gas that low power consumption, Low ODP and cooling efficiency is 60% more than R22.The Zeotropic blends (R134a & R22) in mass ratio 30/70 and 15/85 gives optimum results.
