N2 - The fast adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) requires efficient management of charging infrastructure to avert grid overload and enhance energy distribution. This research introduces an innovative method for load balancing in EV charging networks using reinforcement learning (RL) methods. The proposed architecture utilizes Q-learning algorithms to assign charging resources dynamically, contingent upon real-time demand and energy availability. The simulation of several charging conditions illustrates how RL may adaptively acquire optimum charging techniques, therefore minimizing peak demand while maintaining user pleasure. Key performance parameters, including average waiting time and energy expenditures, demonstrate substantial improvement relative to traditional load-balancing techniques. Moreover, findings suggest incorporating renewable energy sources with RL-based load control might improve grid resilience and sustainability. It advances the creation of intelligent charging systems that can effectively manage the rising volume of EVs while enhancing grid stability and minimizing operating expenses. Future research will investigate incorporating advanced prediction models to enhance the load-balancing procedure.
