Developing a Framework for Generative AI Adoption in Human Resource Practices

This project aims to develop a robust and validated framework for the intentional application of Generative AI in Malaysian human resource (HR) practices, contributing to Sustainable Development Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure). As Generative AI technologies gain traction globally, many industries are integrating AI into their operations. However, the HR sector in Malaysia exhibits a significantly low adoption of AI, thereby posing challenges to the advancement of the fourth industrial revolution and the achievement of these SDGs. This research addresses this critical gap by developing and validating a framework to understand and predict the adoption of generative AI in Malaysia's HR sector, ultimately facilitating wider acceptance and successful implementation of AI technologies in HR practices.
